This is possible with the union of two generations acting together, fathers and sons, changing a family officer into a clinic with highly considered dentists working in the several dentistry areas, with a specialty to all kinds of patients, broadening the actuation without losing the essence of personalized care, fully focused on the individual.
After four years acquiring experience at Saci-Pererê Clinic, Dr. Irineu and Dr. Lúcia Pizzocolo, together with Dr. Maria Elisa, decided it was time to have their own space. That's how, in September 15th, 1969, they opened the Pinóquio Clinic, the beginning of a serious work in dentistry.
With professionalism and a special care dedicated to all the patients, the clinic started to gain new patients, broadening its actuation, making great friends. And the friendship circle grew so much that it was soon necessary to get more space. That's why in 1986, Dr. Irineu and Dr. Lúcia moved to number 2.605 of Avenida Vereador José Diniz, opening a larger clinic, in their own real estate and with modern equipment and more dentists, acting in partnership.
Ten years later, in 1996, it was time to grow again, but not in the structure, but within the family, once the couple's children, Dr. Marcos and Dr. Fulvia, joined the team. In 1999, it was the turn of another daughter, Dr. Lícia, to complete the team that joined all the members of the Pizzocolo family.
The family always acts maintaining the essential values that guide the clinic's work since the beginning: quality standard and humanitarian care, captivating and winning the clients, always following up the market evolution.
According to world trends, the clinic went through an updated and was renamed in April 2002, becoming Ápex Odontologia. The changes came also in the structure, with modern equipment, decoration with different colors, everything to make the environment more comfortable and welcoming.
The clinic, which was born with the Pizzocolo couple, was modernized and writes a history of accomplishments and successes which involves all the patients, going from a family office to a modern and prestigious clinic, with leading edge technology and specialized dentists in the several areas, prepared to fulfill at all times, the motto adopted by the company: "Your smile, a success!"
Graduated from University of São Paulo - USP - in 1964, is a specialist in dental prosthesis and odontopediatrics. In addition to working at the clinic, he acted for thirty years as a dentist approved in the public examination at the São Paulo City Hall - from 1966 to 1969 exercised the odontopediatrics in schools; from 1969 to 1975 treated, in this role, children with disabilities at Especialized Clinic Humaitá; from 1975 to 1996 worked at the pediatrics surgery department. Is currently a member of the Gerontology Study Group at Dentists Association of São Paulo.
Graduated from University of São Paulo - USP - in 1964, Works for 42 years on odontopediatrics, orthodontics and face orthopedics. In 1969 started to act in the Maxillaries Functional Orthopedics and Orthodontics, taking courses at Sociedade Paulista de Ortodontia, at Associação Paulista de Cirurgiões-Dentistas and at the dentists Labor Union. Is currently a member of the Gerontology Study Group at Associação Paulista de Cirurgiões-Dentistas.
Graduated from Paulista University - UNIP - in 1995, is an expert on dental prosthesis. Among several courses, took an extension course in implants, minor oral surgery, endodontics and aesthetics. Is qualified to perform conscious sedation with nitric oxide in the Ápex Odontologia patients. Perform a volunteer work at the emergency room at Dentists Association of São Paulo between 1996 and 1998 and participated as an intern member of the total prosthesis discipline at UNIP from 1997 to 1999.
Graduated from State University of São Paulo - UNESP - in 1998, is an expert in periodontology. Among several courses, took an extension course in minor oral surgery, implants, aesthetics and systemic involvements in the dental care. Is qualified to perform conscious sedation with nitric oxide in the Ápex Odontologia patients. Performed a volunteer work at the emergency room at Dentists Association of São Paulo between 1999 and 2000. Is a member of the SOCESP (Cardiologists Soceity of São Paulo) Dentistry department.
Graduated from Paulista University - UNIP - in 1995, is an expert in Odontopediatrics. Cares for pregnant women, babies, children and teenagers. Among other courses, took extension courses in aesthetics, endodontics, orthopedics and dentistry for babies.
Comprised by four offices with all the necessary equipment to a quality service. The dental chairs, also have a device which allows the relaxation of the patient during the treatment.
In the sterilization sector, all the wash process of the materials used is performed, as well as disinfection and sterilization in autoclave, allowing the elimination of any risks to the clients.
Ápex has a prosthesis laboratory for the execution of a few emergency prosthetics procedures. In addition, it has all the necessary equipment and materials for the study and planning of the most complex rehabilitation treatments.
Ápex Odontologia offers to its patient the option for a quieter and relaxed treatment through the use of nitric oxid, known as laughing gas.
